Make this Mother's Day or Father's Day special with a unique gift to take photos of several of our beautiful raptors. This photo opportunity will feature several of our education birds in natural settings. Participants will meet and photograph birds native to Wisconsin: barred owl, American kestrel, peregrine falcon and Mississippi Kite. Weather permitting we will include a flight demo with 2 of our trained raptors. This will be our last session until fall so don't miss out on this opportunity. You will receive privileged access to help you get photographs not otherwise available to the average visitor. Tips and minimal assistance will be given throughout the activity by professional photographers Scott Weberpal and Margie Duerr.
We also ask that only registered participants attend as we are very limited for space. No exceptions. Participants will receive a brief tour of our facility. We will remain as a group throughout the event. All birds will be wearing anklets, jesses and telemetry which is required. This event is dependent on suitable weather conditions for the birds and for us (no rain or high winds).
Workshop size is limited to 25 participants and are required to have a digital camera. Bring other photography gear such as telephoto lenses, flashes, and large memory card with plenty of room to store your photographs. Payment can be made via Paypal found on our homepage or check payable to Hoo's Woods PO Box 21 Milton WI 53563.
