The slogan "They're Back" expresses the recovery and preservation of an endangered species. Final printing of these posters includes photos and text supporting the historical and scientific data.
The printing of 3500 posters were made possible through the support of the following organizations: Alliant Energy, WE Energies, Wisconsin Society for Ornithology, Wisconsin Wildlife Rehabilitators Association, Wisconsin Falconers' Association, Raptors of the Rockies and Hoo's Woods Raptor Center. We developed this poster to provide a raptor education resource for teachers, schools, libraries, conservations groups, schools, etc. Our goal is to create awareness by reducing the number of non-game bird mortalities due to hazardous chemicals, celebrate the recovery of the peregrine falcon, and enhance the value of raptors and other predators in natural systems.
These posters are available through my programs and our center. We are currently working on distribution through our sponsors, area libraries and other locations as well. If you are interested you may contact our center at falco5@ticon.net or 608-883-2795.
