Education Programs
Raptor education programs are offered to public, private,
home-school groups, scouts, camps, churches, civic
groups, bird clubs, and hunters education.
Our birds
make learning a personal experience and are the best
way to present wildlife education. Costs vary with the
size of the group and the length of presentation.
Typically a raptor program is one hour with time allowed
for questions, and includes 3-4 live raptors appropriate
for all ages. Eagle programs last one hour and are most
appropriate for grades three and above.
Please contact
Dianne for fees and information at 608-883-2795.
All donations go to facilitate our education efforts.
Our education birds include:
eagles, hawks, owls, falcons and vulture.
Birds of Prey Lecture
This one-hour program is tailored to the age and experience of the audience. It includes
various species of raptors: eagle, hawk, falcon, owl or vulture. Audiences learn about
the importance of different raptor species, their specially-adapted tools, and their roles
in our ecosystems. Audiences will learn about the hearing of the owl, the talons and
wingspan of the eagle, and aerodynamics of the falcon. This program is perfect for public,
private, home school groups, nature clubs, conservation clubs and banquets,
community organizations and more. Please contact Dianne for fees.
